About This Activity
Join Señora Nadia as she teaches Spanish through cultural cooking lessons! This class is a great starting point for Spanish language exposure. Bringing both their tastebuds and brains to life! Each class will be taught roughly 50% in Spanish and 50% in English. Each class will have a cultural focus, emphasized through the cooking lesson. This may be explained with an illustrated story, personal anecdote, or the scientfic principles and/or math concept as it applies to the dish. The classes will be held on site at Euphrates’s using the outdoor picnic area and will have a max capacity of 9 Students. The classes will be an hour long and require adult participation if the student is under 6 years old. (This is not a drop off class for all ages) Upon completion of all 4 classes, the students will take home a mini recipe book as well as other mementos & souvenirs.
