About This Activity
Seeking adventurers for a week-long campaign into the Oregon Dunes. Must be strong, dexterous, have a hardy constitution, vast intelligence, a knowing wisdom and a charismatic presence (or at least a couple of these things.) The party will be seeking treasure and experience while exploring the endless windswept wasteland. Must not be afraid to get sand in your teeth, and everywhere else. Dune-geons and Dragons will be held at the beautiful Eel Creek Campground, south of Reedsport. All campers will sleep in 6-person wall tents, with a Junior Counselor as mentor and helper for each group. We will spend the week learning to embrace the elements of nature, primarily sand! Bring clothes that can get dirty, plenty of sunscreen and bug repellent, and a sturdy sense of adventure. Drop-off will be 9am on Monday morning at Mt Pisgah, as part of our usual day camp procedures. Pick up will be at the same spot on Friday at 4pm. Campers will be transported to the site by van. There is an additional $39 material fee for this camp.
