About This Activity
These reusable food wraps are infused with beeswax and other ingredients that give it pliability and antimicrobial properties (we will share these ingredients during class). They self-adhere and can be made in any size you like; please bring any custom measurements to class with you. You will be able to make 1 large (up to 16" × 20"), 1 medium (up to 12" x 16") and 1 small (up to 8" × 8"). There will be many different fabric patterns to choose from. Extra wraps can be made if time allows for $3 each for small and medium and $6 for large. All supplies are included and all ages are welcome. After Care for your Food Wraps: Wash in cool water with a mild soap. Do not put in the washing machine. This coating should last 6-12 months of regular use. If you notice it is starting to lose it’s stick, place in a medium oven on a wax paper or foil lined tray for 5-8 minutes to re-distribute the wax.
