About This Activity
Company Kids: Storybook to Stage In Company Kids, young artists create an original mini musical in just five days. Each week, children work with our professional teaching artists to invent characters, shape a story, and bring it to life through music, movement, rhythm, and dance. Inspired by our island, favorite books and artists, and the joy of world-building, campers take part in every step of the creative process. With plenty of onsite outdoor time built in, Company Kids will be your child's favorite week of the summer! Students play theatre games, improvise scenes, sing, move, and learn simple choreography, while designing simple props and visual elements that support their storytelling. The environment is joyful, inclusive, and intentionally supportive—encouraging confidence, collaboration, and creative expression. Friday is showtime. Families are invited to a mini musical performance each Friday at 11:15am, showcasing the original work created that week.
