Get ready for an exciting adventure as we learn about leadership and complete the first step of the True North Award! This session is all about exploring leadership as a shared journey, where each of you has the power to create positive change in your life and the world around you. Cadettes will dive into two key mindsets of the WAGGGS Leadership Model, learning how to apply them in real-life situations! Through fun activities and thoughtful practice, you’ll gain confidence in understanding what leadership truly means, discover the leader within you, and learn how to show off your leadership skills to the world. Girls will also learn how leadership experiences like this connect to Girl Scouts’ True North Award, recognizing girls who intentionally build leadership skills and take action in their communities. It’s time to step up, shine, and lead! We’re also excited to share that this event celebrates leadership at every level, including volunteers from the Girl Scouts Associate Board, highlighting how leadership journeys continue well beyond the troop experience and into the community. WAGGGS stands for World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts Snack and Drink will be provided. A patch is included for registered youth participants. This program is a drop-off event. Visit our Council Shop for more Girl Scout swag. Financial Assistance may be available for this program. Details for how to apply can be found in the registration forms as you complete your registration.
