About This Activity
Are you ready to take the first steps to earning your Bronze, Silver or Gold Award? Check one of your prerequisites off at our True North Leadership to Awards program! Girl Scouts will spend the first two hours of our program earning most of their (NEW!) True North Leadership Award followed by a one hour training about going for the Girl Scout Highest Awards. The True North award is about discovering what matters to you and staying true to yourself. It’s your chance to follow your values and take meaningful action, even when it feels hard or a little scary. Whether you’re finding the courage to speak up for what you believe in, taking on challenges, or advocating for positive change, this award helps you build the confidence and clarity to chart your own course and take courageous steps toward what truly matters to you. This is a drop off event. Adults do not need to stay for the program but are welcome to join us. We may ask for a few adults to stay to help us reach the appropriate girl-to-adult ratios. No food is provided as part of this program. Girl Scouts are encouraged to bring lunch or snack to eat during the short break in our program.
