About This Activity
Teen Leaders are volunteers who are interested in being a camp leader, enjoy being around young children, and listen to directions well. Teen Leaders will be responsible for a group of up to five children in which they will act as a camp counselor and guide through the camp activities. Teen Leaders are expected to be at Safety Town Monday – Friday for 3.25 hours each day. They will earn 16.25 hours of community service by the end of the week. Teens will receive daily training before campers arrive. On the last day, they will receive a signed certificate of completion with the amount of hours served. Teen Leaders should be entering 7th grade or above in the Fall of 2025. *Must be able to commit to the full week. *Monday start time is 8:30 am
