About This Activity
Percussion camp is designed for high school students to explore a range of percussion instruments, from drums to marimbas, guided by North Central College percussion faculty Joseph LaPalomento. The camp offers personalized instruction and opportunities to improve various percussion techniques. Students will also be collaborating with fellow campers in a percussion ensemble, and the ensemble will perform in a public concert in the Wentz Concert Hall on the last day of camp. Camp is open to students of all skill levels. June 6 (Last Day of Camp) a performance will be held at 5P in Wentz Concert Hall. Parents are encouraged to attend. Performance will conclude at 6P If applicable, please bring mallets and drumsticks to camp if you have them.
