About This Activity
In this handwork class, students will have the opportunity to learn embroidery, cross stitch/needlepoint, dyeing fibers, knitting in the round, hand sewing, and sewing 3 dimensional objects. In 6th through 12th, students are provided instruction and frameworks, while being allowed to fully express and experiment within that frame. This age group are allotted a year end capstone project to further dive into their chosen niche. Students are encouraged to embrace their individuality through their creativity. The content in this class is on a 3 year cycle, so your student could take the class three years in a row and not repeat a project. Homework is not assigned for this class. Teacher: Katie Filer
