About This Activity
In this hands-on workshop, 3rd–8th grade students will unleash their creativity by designing and personalizing their own sneakers. Using fabric paint, markers, and sparkling embellishments like rhinestones, students will make their shoes truly one-of-a-kind. If time allows, they can add beads, charms, or create custom laces for an extra-special finishing touch. This workshop combines fashion, art, and self-expression in a fun, interactive experience. Students need to provide their own pair of plain white Converse, Keds, or similar canvas shoes. Teacher: Cindy Clark **All workshops include a break for lunch and free time with friends.
