In this cozy and creative workshop, 3rd–8th grade students will transform ordinary sweaters into whimsical works of art inspired by Yrurari, the Icelandic artist known for turning knitwear into living sculptures. Students will explore textures, colors, and imaginative design as they embellish their projects with fabric, yarn, and other materials. If time permits, students will also be able to create their own unique stuffed animal sculpture with remnant fabrics. This hands-on experience encourages creativity, self-expression, and a playful approach to wearable and soft sculpture art. Students may bring their own sweater to embellish or choose one from our supply. Teacher: Cindy Clark **All workshops include a break for lunch and free time with friends.
