Instructor: James Hendricks Get ready for a wild, hands-on adventure in art! In this class, we’ll dive into the world of natural pigments and dyeing techniques using food scraps, trash, and plant materials that you can find right outside. Let’s head outdoors, get inspired by nature, and create something totally unique! You’ll mix up your own inks and watercolors, then use your new creations to make a self-portrait and a surreal landscape—just like the quirky and imaginative works of Salvador Dalí and Giorgio de Chirico. It’s a one-of-a-kind chance to turn everyday materials into amazing art! On the final day of camp, we invite parents to a special reception to celebrate their young artists and to see the work your children have created throughout the week.
