About This Activity
In this workshop, 7th–12th grade students will explore the art of the sonnet through the works of iconic poets like Shakespeare, Browning, Donne, Milton, Wordsworth, and Keats. Students will read and analyze famous sonnets, learn the techniques and structure that make them memorable, and practice writing their own original sonnets, blending creativity with literary craftsmanship. Teacher: Kendra Andrus **All Friday workshops include a break for lunch and free time outside/inside with friends.
