About This Activity
The year will be filled with fun projects and activities like coming up with fun new names for classic colors, creating a fashion mood board, sketching clothes, and creating their own fashion collection and style. Students will learn how to choose fabrics, how clothes are produced, design principles, a little bit of fashion history, and garment construction. Students will go from no-sew exercises to learning basic sewing skills starting with hand sewing various stitches and small fashion projects before continuing on to machine sewing. Sewing machines will be provided by The Curve. Students will need to purchase a book and small sewing kit to bring to class. Teacher: Cindy Clark
