In this hands-on workshop, students will learn the basics of music composition using easy-to-use digital tools. We'll explore how to build melodies, choose instruments, and layer rhythms to create original pieces of music. By the end of the day, each student will have composed their own short song and will get to hear it played back using fun, life-like MIDI sounds! This is a great way for young musicians to experiment with music writing in a creative, low-pressure environment. Teacher: Music U Students will need a computer for this workshop. They can use one from the Curve or bring their own. **All workshops include a break for lunch and free time with friends.
