Podcasting at We Own This Town Studios – Learn the ins and outs of creating, editing, and promoting a podcast with Michael Eades, owner and producer of We Own This Town podcast network. Participants will gain hands-on experience with recording equipment, editing software, and how to develop engaging content. In this workshop, participants will learn: - Technical skills: Basic knowledge about audio engineering, equipment setup, RSS feeds, web hosting, podcast networks and distribution. - Industry knowledge: Insights into the music and podcasting industries, the impact and power of podcasting, and the role of cultural influence in non-legacy media.
