About This Activity
Get ready to dip your brushes and let your creativity shine! In this playful and colorful painting class designed just for Kindergarten through 2nd grade students, young artists will explore the magic of paint through fun, hands-on projects. Children will learn basic painting techniques such as brushwork, color mixing, and layering, while being introduced to famous artists and a variety of styles. From bold abstracts to imaginative landscapes and animals, every project is designed to spark joy, build confidence, and nurture each child’s unique artistic voice. No prior experience needed—just a love of color and a sense of adventure! All of our fine art students will also have their work showcased in our Curve art show. Teacher: Val Smith
