About This Activity
In our Jam Band class, students will experience the thrill of playing in a real band, learning how to collaborate and perform music together. Whether you're on guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, or vocals, you'll work with your classmates to learn songs, develop your skills, and create your own music. The class will cover essential topics like rhythm, harmony, dynamics, and stage presence, helping students understand how all the instruments come together to create powerful, energetic performances. Students should have some experience playing their instrument of choice, but all levels are encouraged to participate. By the end of the course, students will have the confidence and experience to perform as a cohesive band, ready to rock out in front of an audience at our Curve Spring Performing Arts Showcase!
