About This Activity
In our Coding with Scratch class, students in grades 3 through 5 will dive into the exciting world of programming by creating their own interactive stories, games, and animations! Using the Scratch platform, you'll learn how to build projects by dragging and dropping colorful blocks to control characters, sounds, and actions. You’ll explore the basics of coding, like how to give instructions, create loops, and make things move and change on the screen. As you work through fun challenges and projects, you’ll develop problem-solving skills and creativity while building your own unique digital creations. Laptops/tablets will be provided by the Curve for this class.
