Get ready for a hands-on, messy, and creative art experience! In this 4-day Sculpture Camp, students in grades 3–8 will explore three-dimensional art by designing and building their very own piñatas from start to finish. Campers will learn basic sculpture techniques such as form-building, layering, and surface design while working with materials like cardboard, papier-mâché, and paint. Each day builds on the last—starting with planning and structure, moving into construction and drying, and finishing with colorful decoration and creative details. Along the way, students will develop problem-solving skills, patience, and confidence in their artistic choices, all in a fun and supportive environment. The camp encourages imagination, teamwork, and experimentation, and every camper will leave with a completed, one-of-a-kind piñata to take home at the end of the week. No prior art experience is necessary—just a willingness to get creative and a little messy! This camp is hosted by Marshall Romero.
