Introduction to Robotics with Robothink In RoboThink robotics workshops, every student will build at least 2 robots per workshop. With all of our classes/workshops, each robot build has a challenge or activity that all students will participate in while using their bots. After a few minutes of play, we always ask the students to customize their bots to improve their performance. Adding extra 'arms' or spinning 'weapons' are the kids' favorite part of the class! Session 1: Intro to building cells, dc motors, switches and batteries Build - 'Extend-O-Claw' and a Drone Session 2: Intro to Mainboards Build - Go-Kart and a Wrecking Ball Session 3: Intro to IR Sensors Build - Game and a Self-Driving Car This is a 3 session workshop for 6th-9th graders that will meet on Sept 12, 19, and 26. **All workshops include a break for lunch and supervised free time outside or inside with friends.
