About This Activity
In our Pre-Algebra class, students will lay the groundwork for success in algebra and beyond. The course will introduce key concepts like working with integers, solving equations, understanding variables, and exploring basic functions. Students will also dive into topics like fractions, decimals, ratios, and proportions, while strengthening their problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Through interactive lessons, hands-on activities, and real-world applications, students will gain a solid understanding of how mathematical concepts connect and prepare them for more advanced studies. This class meets twice per week on both Monday and Wednesday. To help reinforce what we’ve learned, there will be assignments that you will complete at home with your parents. Our instructor will also be available by email for any parent questions. By the end of the class, students will feel confident with foundational algebraic concepts and be ready to take on Algebra I with ease!
