In this ancient civilizations class, students are introduced to some of the earliest cultures in history in a fun and engaging way. They'll explore ancient civilizations like Egypt, Mesopotamia, Rome, and the Maya, learning about important aspects like how people lived, what they ate, what they built, and their contributions to the world. Students will discover famous landmarks such as the Great Pyramids, the colosseum in Rome, and ancient temples. Through stories, hands-on activities, science experiments, crafts, games, and discussions, they'll develop a basic understanding of the past and how it shapes the present. The goal is to spark curiosity about history and inspire young learners to explore the ancient world. Teacher: Laura Gamradt
