In our Algebra I class, students will explore the foundational concepts of algebra that are essential for higher-level math and real-life problem solving. Through engaging lessons and practice, students will learn how to work with variables, solve equations, simplify expressions, and understand functions. Topics such as linear equations, inequalities, exponents, and polynomials will be covered, giving students the tools to analyze and solve a wide range of mathematical problems. This class meets twice a week and the instructor will provide work for students to complete at home throughout the week. Students should have completed Pre-Algebra before taking this class.
