In this workshop, 7th–12th grade students will explore the thought-provoking worlds of Ray Bradbury, one of the most influential authors of the 20th century. Through reading and analyzing his short stories, watching an interview with the author, and engaging in deep discussions, students will examine Bradbury’s warnings about technology and its impact on humanity. Participants will then create their own poems or vignettes reflecting on the risks of rapidly advancing technology and the importance of preserving the best of human values, combining critical thinking with creative expression. Teacher: Kendra Andrus **All Friday workshops include a break for lunch and free time outside/inside with friends.
