About This Activity
SENHE is proud to be partnering with Mr. Bond & the Science Guys again for another year of science fun! For the first semester, this class will be a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) Club designed to introduce students in the early grades to the basic concepts of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Through hands-on, project-based learning, students will be given opportunities to work together in groups and use their creativity to solve problems. Kids will make chemical reactions, play brain games, and more! In semester two, this class will become C.S.I. Nashville as we explore the field of forensic science! Kids will collect clues, identify suspects, and solve crimes. They will perform science experiments with DNA, fingerprinting, fiber analysis, anatomy, and much more.
