New group starts November 9, 2026. Monday, 3:35-4:35 PM at 399 Chestnut Street, Needham. Welcome to the 2026-2027 School year! This class is designed for Grade 1-2 students in our Modern Hebrew (*HSL) track. Our class represents a modern departure from traditional Hebrew instruction, prioritizing phonetic recognition, Alef-bet decoding, and the transition from print to script. The program emphasizes functional literacy and oral comprehension through modern Israeli Hebrew, focusing on active language production rather than rote memorization. Students explore Israeli geography, history, and holiday traditions, grounding their linguistic skills in authentic cultural values. We utilize a sophisticated, multi-sensory methodology that integrates rigorous academic goals with interactive games and hands-on projects. This high-energy, proficiency-based approach ensures students master the fundamentals of reading and writing in a joyful, engaging environment. This class is a professional educational experience that builds both technical language skills and a lasting cultural connection. Midyear Tuition & Enrollment Standard tuition is $65 per remaining 60-minute lesson, plus the required $90 materials fee. Tuition is prorated for the remaining scheduled lessons through June 14, 2027, excluding school holidays. Enrollment begins with the next Monday class after your registration date; register by the day before your first class. Pay in full or choose monthly installments, available through April 5, 2027. The monthly option adds a one-time $70 payment-plan fee. Existing families' payment schedules are unchanged. Hebrew as a Second Language. Teaching and learning are personalized. No prerequisites.
