About This Activity
The Spring Figure Sculpting class: Additional Day Option In this one day workshop we will start with a presentation of various contemporary and classical sculptures to spark ideas for finishing your figures. There will be demonstrations of techniques for applying paint on fired clay: building up washes of color for depth, dry-brush techniques that accentuate details, and faux bronze patina finishes. Acrylic paint and brushes will be supplied. In case of any kiln mishaps, epoxy and patching compound will be available to fix any cracks or make repairs to your sculptures, if needed .
