About This Activity
Class assists the young dancer in identifying basic forms of movement through imaginative games, songs, music and rhythmic patterns while fostering independence. Students will be introduced to the concepts of body, energy, space, & time as well as encouraged to take direction from the instructor and share turns with peers. We will explore the world of ballet in classical/contemporary forms and have a great time doing it! **Suggested attire: Girls should wear a black dance leotard and shorts. They will need pink ballet shoes, hair pulled back. Boys should wear shorts, a comfortable solid color T-Shirt. They will also need black ballet shoes or black grip socks. ***
