About This Activity
Hazel’s Dance Academy K-8 Class helps young dancers learn basic movements through imaginative games, songs, music, and rhythmic patterns while encouraging independence. Students will learn about the body, energy, space, and time, and will be encouraged to follow the instructor's directions and share turns with peers. We will explore ballet in both classical and contemporary styles, and we will have a lot of fun doing it! **Suggested attire: Girls should wear a black dance leotard and shorts. They will need pink ballet shoes and should have their hair pulled back. Boys should wear shorts and a comfortable, solid-colored T-shirt. They will also need black ballet shoes or black grip socks.
