About This Activity
Join our beginner friendly sewing club! Open to all skill levels, students will build confidence as they learn essential hand sewing, crochet, and knitting techniques in a fun, supportive environment. Sewing skills include threading a needle, tying knots, sewing on buttons, running stitch, whip stitch, blanket stitch, simple embroidery, seam finishing, pattern tracing, and stuffing soft projects. As students progress, they'll also learn the fundamentals of crochet and knitting, including casting on, basic stitches, reading simple patterns, and finishing techniques. Projects include stuffed animals, pillows, scarves, hats, pouches, and other creative handmade items. With a small class size and personalized instruction, students can work at their own pace while developing creativity, patience, and practical skills they'll use for years to come.
