About This Activity
This camp features three curriculum areas for students to explore: Digital Media, Culinary Arts, and Ceramics. Students can choose to dive deep into one focus or rotate between all three! DIGITAL MEDIA: In this session, students will explore the world of film post-production, including editing, graphic design, animation, and sound recording. New students will also learn the basics of filming their own projects. For those especially interested in filmmaking, we recommend enrolling in Film Camp (July 13–24) for a deeper dive into production. CULINARY ARTS: Get ready to cook up something delicious! Students will learn kitchen safety and essential food prep skills while creating a variety of dishes. From New Orleans classics to global cuisine, this class is perfect for young chefs ready to experiment and taste their creations. CERAMICS: Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of working with clay, including hand-building techniques, surface design, and glazing. By the end of the week, each student will take home a one-of-a-kind, kiln-fired ceramic piece. Beforecare: 8:00-8:30 - $10/day, $30/session Aftercare: 3:30-5:30 - $20/day, $60/session
