Facilitated by Marg Fletcher and Sophie Arkell Jan 17, Feb 7 and Mar 7, 2026 10 AM - 12 PM PST Location: Welcome Centre, New Westminster Secondary School One of Lumara’s longest-running programs, this in-person group provides ongoing opportunities for bereaved parents/guardians and their children (ages 6-12 years) to connect, to share their experiences in a supportive environment and to learn strategies that can assist them in coping with their grief. All groups are facilitated by experienced therapists assisted by trained volunteers. While the program is family-centered in philosophy, each meeting includes a breakout time with a circle for the adults to talk and a separate circle for the children to talk and engage in expressive arts therapy activities. This group is for families with kids ages 6-12 years. Registration Fee: $30 per person As always, fee subsidies are available to ensure that our programs are accessible to everyone.
