About This Activity
Machine Sewing Basics introduces young sewists to the essentials of both hand and machine sewing. During the first part of the course, students will explore sewing tools, measurements, fabric terminology, and the science behind textiles, while building a strong foundation in hand-sewing techniques. As the class progresses, they will learn how to confidently and safely operate a sewing machine and apply their new skills to create fun and functional projects. Fridays 3:30-5:00pm
