About This Activity
Wear custom jewelry you design and make through 3D Printing! Students learn how to manipulate shapes in 3D Modeling Software to create their own earrings, pendants, chains, bracelets, rings, necklaces and more! MakeInspires reviews proper design and measurement techniques critical to completing successful jewelry prints. Problem solving is encouraged. Creativity is limitless! Wearable technology, or wearables, is clothing and accessories incorporating computer and electronic technologies such as light up sneakers or an activity tracker. Students create their own bracelet wearable to take home and enjoy! These electronic bracelets use conductive tape, a battery, and LEDs to complete the circuit! *Take home materials fee provides a 3D print for every other class
