About This Activity

Description

Spanish course for young heritage speaker

The objective will be to improve reading, written and oral expression skills, adopting a creative approach that contributes to the development of metaphorical competence in Spanish. To this end, various strategies will be used to enhance creativity and help kids to create their own compositions of different types. In a playful and motivating way, kids will work both individually and in teams.
Adriana Eiroa has a degree in Advertising and Public Relations and a specialization in Communication as a component of Marketing from the Complutense University of Madrid. After more than 10 years of experience in the marketing world, she moved to New York where she decided to train as a Spanish teacher with the Instituto Cervantes. Adriana is also a qualified examiner for the DELE exam from level A1 to B2 including the school DELE. She teaches Spanish to children, teenagers and adults and this allows her to combine 3 of her passions: creativity through new materials and personalized approaches, technologies applied to these materials and literature. All this to make the student's experience more authentic, playful and rewarding.
