Take your musicianship to the next level! Our Jazz Academy is among the nation’s top pre-collegiate instrumental training programs for serious-minded advanced students. Students will work with world-class jazz artists in weekly semi-private lessons, small ensembles, and Big Band to develop their skills and musical voice. SMALL ENSEMBLES MONDAYS 5:15PM – 7:30PM Learn how to play like the masters in small ensembles! Each of the ensembles focus on different eras and music of jazz to keep students engaged with the large variety of jazz music! Ambassador Ensemble Messengers Ensembles Blues + Roots Ensembles VOCAL JAZZ ACADEMY LARGE ENSEMBLES WEDNESDAYS 5:15PM – 7:30PM These ensembles provide students with expansive instruction in a Big Band setting, playing a wide variety of intricate arrangements and music from legendary jazz composers. Afro Latin Ensemble Unity Ensemble 52nd St Big Band SMALL GROUP LESSONS Weekly access to small group lessons are a key component for our student’s success on the bandstand. Once a student signs up for a music program at Trinity, they will be assigned to a weekly small group lesson.
