About This Activity
Drama Club Company is a dynamic, ensemble-driven training ground for upper elementary students ready to take their performance skills to the next level. With a deeper focus on vocal technique, movement, and storytelling, students refine their craft while working collaboratively toward a musical performance. Performers will always conduct physical and vocal warm-ups that include skill-building exercises, and music, dance and theater literacy. Community building-themed games will be played every week, changing frequently and aligned with the learning outcomes of the week. In the fall, they’ll present a mini Broadway musical revue, featuring selections across styles and eras from Singin’ In the Rain to & Juliet. This company will create an inclusive, supportive, and empowering community on and off the stage. It's more than a class -- it's a company!
