About This Activity
Drama Club Players is a joyful introduction to musical theater designed especially for our youngest performers. Through imaginative play, movement games, and sing-alongs, students explore the basic building blocks of performance using their voices, bodies, and emotions to tell a story. This class embodies creativity, confidence, and collaboration in a nurturing and playful environment. Performers will always do a full body/vocal warm-up, including skill building, and music, dance and theater literacy. Community-building games will be played every week, changing frequently and aligned with the learning outcomes of the week. In the fall, students will explore beloved musicals like Encanto and Wicked to create a mini musical revue!
