About This Activity
Does your child love making art? Is your child curious about the world around them? Through this course, children learn to build connections between science and art making, and between geometry and art making. In this exploratory art course, students will unite STEAM and creativity through hands-on art-making inspired by science and math! Students will craft rubbings from leaves and other textures, learn to weave with paper, design watercolor resists, make liquid chalk and much more! This class encourages environmental awareness, through up-cycling and repurposing of materials, as well as foster an appreciation for nature while providing a safe space to create freely.
