As children enter the upper camps, programming follows a more project-based focus that is designed to match their growing curiosity, skills, and confidence as learners. Alongside the classic day camp experience, campers dive into a weekly project inspired by that week's theme, resulting in a culminating activity where campers showcase what they've learned. Guided by one of Corlears School’s specialized subject teachers, the 7/8s also enjoy plenty of outdoor play, STEAM-themed activities, fun with friends, and the following: -Swim 2x/week with British Swim School -Sports 2x/week with a dedicated P.E. instructor -Field trip 1x/week aligned with that week's theme; past trips include visits to the Intrepid Museum, Central Park, Museum of the Moving Image, and the Chelsea Gallery at the School of Visual Arts Designed for children entering second or third grade in the fall. After-camp from 3 to 5 p.m. is available at a rate of $40/day, and after-camp math and literacy clubs are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays at a rate of $60/day.
