**Registration for this session open to campers who self-identify as female, transgender, non-binary & gender non-conforming If your child is male and you register for this week by mistake, we will work with you to find an alternate week if available. If you must cancel, see our cancellation policy. Summer Camp at NYC's Adventure Playground: The Yard! Please review specific details on our website including the cancellation policy before registering: https://www.play-ground.nyc/summer-camp The Yard, on Governors Island, is NYC's only self-directed adventure playground. Expect open-ended play, building, painting, splashing, and more! Ages: - 6-12+ [Campers must be 6 by their camp week.] - *Playworker-In-Training* program for ages 12.5 and older! Limited space each week. Reach out for more details Details: - Location: Governors Island, The Yard - Drop-off/Pick-up: Downtown Manhattan, Citi Bike station (between Governors/Staten Island ferry terminals) - Schedule: Drop-off 8:30-8:50am to Pick-up 3:10-3:20pm - Activities: Self directed - outdoors (except extreme weather) - Food: NOT provided - Price: Tiered pricing system for affordability - After Care option available for an additional fee - Docs needed: Camp waiver, health form with vaccination records, trip form. - More info: https://www.play-ground.nyc/summer-camp This camp is entirely outdoors (except for extreme weather). Your child will get dirty and/or wet and may end up with small bumps, bruises, or scratches, as is the nature of play. Please pack clothes you don’t mind getting dirty/torn. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory. You will receive a full packing list before the start of camp.
