About This Activity
Children will learn Broadway show tunes, acting and staging techniques from professional performers who live and work in New York City, all the while tapping into their inner spring of creativity. This course is devoted to the enjoyment of musical theatre, an appreciation for Broadway musical productions and helps develop confidence, focus and self-expression. Learn original choreography and music from Broadway shows like Wicked, the Lion King, Six, Cabaret, West Side Story, Hamilton, and more with instructors and guest instructors who work on the shows themselves! Whether your child has a penchant for directing, creating, organizing, if they are the next SNL cast member and improv on their feet, if they want to try out that new cartwheel they learned in gymnastics, or if they want to team build as an ensemble OR explore taking on a lead solo moment -- there is a role for every student to shine.
