Description
Forage and Food is focused on understanding the resources that surround us and how to effectively collect them. Skills learned include archery, trapping, tracking, foraging, and food preparation. By foraging for plants and mushrooms campers will learn about their uses, ecology, and identification. Trapping will help campers learn how to track game, tie knots, and be observant. Hunting instruction focuses on safety, ethics, and methods.No prerequisites.
Bring appropriate clothing, snacks, water shoes, bug spray, and lunch.

This camp will take place at Rilee Park
10500 Parrett Mt. Road
Newberg, OR 97132
From 99W, turn onto NE Haugen Road (right if driving north; left is driving south). This is a fairly steep, winding road. After two miles, stop at the stop sign at the T. Turn right at the stop sign onto NE Parrett Mt. Road. After two miles, arrive at the farmhouse on your left.
