Description
Winter Cheerleading (Grades K–8)Season: February–April 2027Join Newberg Youth Cheer this winter to learn cheer motions, stunts, and routines while building confidence and working together as a team. Winter Cheer is open to new and returning athletes in grades K–8. Beginners are welcome.
Practice ScheduleTuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30–7:00 p.m., beginning Tuesday, February 2Chehalem Armory, 620 N Morton St, Newberg
All athletes attend the same practice time. Coaches will work with athletes in age groups during practice.
Performances and GearThe team will perform at the Camellia Festival. Additional community appearances may be announced during the season. CPRD will provide new participants with practice gear to wear at community performances. No uniform purchase is required.
RegistrationReturning Fall Sideline athletes receive a Winter Team registration discount. Athletes who want additional skill practice can register separately for monthly Cheer Tumbling.
