Capoeira Flow: Fitness & Fun for Families
Get moving as a family with Capoeira — the Brazilian art that feels like play but delivers a full-body workout! This class blends martial arts, dance, and rhythm to build strength, coordination, and endurance. Sessions are packed with flowing movements, interactive partner drills, and energetic music that keeps everyone engaged. Perfect for parents and kids who want to stay active together in a fun, supportive setting. Beginners welcome.
What to wear:
Comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle.
Barefoot or indoor-only athletic shoes recommended.
Cost: $50 per month if each participant registers separately.
- If you register a workout partner, spouse, or child in the same household, their registration receives a $15 discount.
- No walk-ins at this time. .
Age Restrictions:
This is a co-ed intergenerational class. Adults of any age are encouraged to register. Children ages 10 to 14 can participate if a parent or guardian is also registered and attending with their student. Registered participants ages 15 and over can attend independently.
Holidays, Attendance, Refunds:
Classes are not scheduled on major holidays. Please talk to your instructor if you have questions about a specific date. Refunds and rate accommodations are not given for missed classes and late registration. Late registration is allowable, but we are not able to prorate the class fee.
Capoeira is a group fitness class that combines martial-arts–inspired movements with rhythm and music. This high-energy workout challenges beginners and experienced participants alike, allowing everyone to set their own pace. It builds stamina, improves coordination and flexibility, and burns calories as you move to the beat. All movements can be adapted to ensure each participant succeeds — don’t let your current fitness level hold you back
