About This Activity

Description

Building Bright Minds, One Pixel at a Time
Led by our friendly Pixel ProfessorA playful first step into Minecraft Education—blended with crafts, creativity, and active play! Guided by our enthusiastic Pixel Professor, this hands-on, imagination-fueled camp introduces young builders to the basics of Minecraft Education in a warm and supportive setting. Campers will explore a safe and structured digital world while also engaging in plenty of off-screen fun.
Each day includes: Beginner-friendly Minecraft Education play—learning how to move, build, and explore• Simple STEM-inspired challenges designed to spark curiosity and creative thinking• Hands-on activities like crafts, games, and movement breaks to balance screen time• A focus on teamwork, turn-taking, and group listening skills• Lots of encouragement, imagination, and discovery—no prior experience needed!
This camp is the perfect blend of digital adventure and real-world creativity, specially crafted for first-time explorers.
Please Note:
  • All necessary devices, software licenses, and materials will be provided by CPRD. Participants are not required to bring their own devices.
  • Campers should come prepared for a mix of screen-based and off-screen activities, including crafts and physical play.
  • Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes are recommended for active participation.
  • Parents are welcome to send snacks and water bottles labeled with their child’s name. Please do not send snacks containing peanut butter or other nut products to help keep all campers safe.
