About This Activity
Join Mountain Alliance as we partner with THRIVE Appalachia! THRIVE provides teens opportunities, connections, and hands-on learning experiences. We will be heading to THRIVE's headquarters in Yancey county every other Tuesday to make soup to sell to a local cafe and to make ice cream for Kid's Cafe. Students who participate in this will receive any income produced by the sale of the soup and ice cream! We will leave right after school and arrive back to ACHS for parent pick-up at 7pm.
