About This Activity
Description
Contemporary African Dance allows students to share their rhythmic and creative power of unity through dance. The dancer is encourage to develop their motor skills and musicality, with an emphasis put on rhythm. The goal is to provide students with an opportunity to create and release pent-up emotions and frustrations. This class use influences of dance from West Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
