Description
Players of all levels are welcome. Newport News Table Tennis Club offers a comprehensive training program tailored to meet each student’s unique needs and goals. Players will learn fundamental skills including the basic table tennis strokes and the proper footwork and body positioning essential for success in competitive match play. More experienced players will get more intense training designed to build speed, power, consistency and accuracy. Each person will receive hands on training by Newport News Table Tennis Club coaches under the supervision of a USATT Certified Club Coach. Whether you’re interested in learning the basics as a recreational player, or interested in increasing your level as a competitive tournament player, our staff of coaches are here to help you meet your goals.
Equipment needed: Loose fitting clothing and non-marking footgear, preferably court shoes.CC Holmes, NNTTC President and USATT Club Coach
